Sobald die ersten Bremsstaub-Partikel im Flor sitzen, ziehst du sie bei der nächsten Lackpassage als feine Kratzspur über den Klarlack. Den Bedarf erkennst du am einfachen Tüten-Test. Eine Hand in eine dünne Plastiktüte stecken, über die gewaschene Fläche fahren, und die Tüte verstärkt jede Unebenheit, die der bloße Finger überspürt. Reichlich Shampoo-Wasser oder Detailer auf die Fläche, das Pad nur führen statt drücken, erst Glas, dann Karosserie, und das Ganze vor der Politur. Die Knete korrigiert übrigens nichts. Sie holt nur Fremdkörper von der Oberfläche, Swirls und Hologramme bleiben und kommen im nächsten Schritt mit der Politur dran.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePraktisch arbeitest du abschnittsweise. Eine handtellergroße Fläche reichlich benetzen, das Pad in ruhigen Bahnen darüberführen, zwischendurch ausspülen, dann weiter. Du spürst den Unterschied: Anfangs gleitet das Pad rau und etwas bremsend, nach ein paar Bahnen läuft es glatt, weil die Partikel weg sind. Das ist dein Signal, dass der Abschnitt fertig ist. Deshalb trägst du mit Suede auf und nimmst mit weicher Mikrofaser ab. Zwei Aufgaben, zwei Tücher.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn der Praxis sieht das so aus: Tuch um den Block wickeln, 12 bis 18 Tropfen Coating auf die Tuchfläche, dann in geraden, überlappenden Bahnen mit einem Kreuzgang auftragen. Frisches Tuch alle 3 bis 4 Sektionen, sobald es klebrig wird. Ein im Tuch ausgehärtetes Coating macht es unbrauchbar, weil es Schlieren zieht, also wechseln statt auswaschen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDer Block selbst ist wiederverwendbar, gehört aber pro Produkttyp getrennt: einer für Coating, einer für Wachs, sonst verschleppst du Reste. Jeder Schritt hat sein eigenes Werkzeug, und Verwechslungen kosten dich entweder Zeit oder einen Mikrokratzer. Die Knete kommt nach der Wäsche und vor der Politur. Das Mikrofasertuch begleitet dich fast überall, mal zum Auspolieren, mal zum Abnehmen. Du wäschst das Auto, fährst mit dem Clay Pad und Gleitmittel über Glas und Karosserie, polierst die Swirls heraus und entfettest die Fläche. Dann bespannst du den Block mit einem frischen Suede-Tuch, dosierst das Coating und ziehst Bahn für Bahn im Kreuzgang. Nach kurzem Ablüften nimmst du den Film mit einem weichen Mikrofasertuch ab. Vier Schritte, drei Werkzeuggruppen, und jedes Teil tut genau seinen Job.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNicht jeder Termin braucht alle Schritte. Bei einer reinen Pflegewäsche an einem schon versiegelten Auto fällt die Knete weg, weil der Lack glatt bleibt, und auch die Politur entfällt. Übrig bleibt das Mikrofasertuch zum Auspolieren des Quick Detailers. Steht dagegen eine frische Versiegelung an, läuft die volle Kette: Knete, Politur, dann Applikator.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSo entscheidet der Zustand des Lacks, welches Werkzeug du in die Hand nimmst, nicht ein starrer Plan. Den Tüten-Test am Anfang machst du trotzdem jedes Mal. Er kostet zehn Sekunden und sagt dir, ob der Knete-Schritt fällig ist oder ob du ihn diesmal überspringen kannst.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWir beraten hier bewusst über den Ablauf statt über einzelne Datenblätter. Drei Pflegefehler sehen wir bei Detailing1 immer wieder, und alle drei sind vermeidbar. Erstens: neue Mikrofasertücher ungewaschen benutzen. Frisch aus der Verpackung tragen sie noch Faserreste, die als Fusseln auf dem Lack landen. Vor dem ersten Einsatz einmal waschen löst das. Zweitens: Tücher zusammen mit Baumwolle oder Handtüchern waschen, wodurch die Mikrofaser fremde Fusseln aufsammelt. Tücher gehören in eine eigene Wäsche.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDer dritte Fehler ist der teuerste: Weichspüler. Er legt einen Film auf die Fasern, der sie verklebt und wasserabweisend macht, womit das Tuch genau die Saugfähigkeit verliert, für die du es gekauft hast. Mikrofaser wäschst du ohne Weichspüler, mit wenig Waschmittel, bei moderater Temperatur. Auch der Farbcode will gepflegt sein: Wenn das blaue Lacktuch versehentlich in der Felgenwäsche landet, ist die saubere Trennung dahin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBei den Pads gilt eine andere Logik. Das Clay Pad spülst du nach jedem Gebrauch mit klarem Wasser aus und lässt es trocknen, dann ist es sofort wieder einsatzbereit. Den Applikator-Block wäschst du unter fließendem Wasser aus, legst ihn aber nicht in ein Lösemittel-Bad, das verträgt der Schaumstoff nicht. Sobald ein Coating im Block ausgehärtet ist, lässt es sich nicht mehr restlos herauswaschen, dann nutzt du ihn als reinen Wachs-Applikator weiter.
