COLOURLOCK Leather Colour (Renault) is a precisely matched standard leather dye for professional repair, refreshment, and recoloring of Renault leather interiors. The colors are based on original Renault color samples and are formulated to blend harmoniously with existing surfaces. Ideal for seat bolsters, steering wheels, armrests, door panels, and all pigmented smooth leather in the vehicle interior where color accuracy and OEM look are crucial.
💡 Practical tip from Detailing1 workshop: In our workshop, we often see the same problem with Renault preparations — color loss on seat bolsters and steering wheels is covered up with cheap care spray, which doesn't last four weeks. With Leather Colour (Renault) dabbed on with a microfiber pad in 2–3 thin layers, drying for 30 minutes in between, and finally sealed with Top Coat Dull — the result lasts 2–3 years, just like factory new.

Before applying the dye, the leather is washed with leather cleaner and degreased with Plastic Cleaner or cleaning alcohol. Deep cracks and abrasion marks are leveled with Filler or Super Filler and sanded smooth with 1000-grit sanding fleece. The Renault color shades are then dabbed on with a microfiber pad, wiped with a soft brush, or, for large-area repairs, applied with a spray bottle.
After complete drying for at least 4 hours, seal with Top Coat — Dull for a matte-original OEM look, Glossy for medium sheen, High Gloss for maximum brilliance. COLOURLOCK Leather Colour (Renault) is a water-based, elastic standard leather dye in original Renault colours. It is used for repairing, refreshing, or recolouring pigmented smooth leather in vehicle interiors — seats, steering wheels, armrests, door panels.
First, thoroughly clean and degrease the leather. Fill and sand any damage with filler. Then dab, wipe, or spray a thin layer of Leather Colour — 2-3 thin coats are better than one thick one. After complete drying, seal with Top Coat (Dull/Glossy/High Gloss).
Leather Colour is the professional repair dye (1L/250ml, can be sealed with Top Coat). Leather Fresh is the conditioning colour cream (1L/100ml) for lighter refreshes without extensive preparation. For deep abrasion → Leather Colour; for matte surfaces → Leather Fresh.
The colours are based on original Renault factory colour samples. However, for heavily faded leather, we still recommend a colour test in an inconspicuous area, as the original leather darkens or fades over the years.
