When a medium correction no longer cuts it, GYEON Q²M Compound+ steps in: the heavy cut member of the GYEON polishing line is built for the worst defects – deep wash scratches, extreme swirl marks, holograms left by bad machine work, oxidation and dull, flat paint that needs a serious correction. The REDEFINED formula gives you maximum cutting power with fast abrasive break-in, yet still leaves solid gloss once the compound step is done.

When is Q²M Compound+ the right call?

Reach for Q²M Compound+ when: you can still feel the scratch with a fingernail (medium to deep scratches), the paint is heavily oxidised and dull, the paint is so hard it won't respond to Q²M Compound (Medium Cut), or you need to strip out a bad previous polish (holograms from sloppy machine work). Always confirm the choice on a test spot first – if Medium Cut does the job, you don't need Compound+. As a rule, Compound+ leaves holograms behind that a finishing polish has to clear.

Q²M Compound+ on different machine types

Q²M Compound+ works on both rotary and dual-action machines. On a rotary with a wool pad (Q²M Rotary Wool Heavy Cut) Compound+ pulls the highest correction power – perfect for extreme defects or really hard paint. On a dual-action with a heavy cut pad the correction is a touch lower but safer if you're less experienced. What comes next: Compound+ takes out the defects but leaves visible polishing holograms on glossy paint – finishing with Q²M Polish is a must.

Three-step correction: Compound+ → Compound → Polish

For extreme paint defects we'd run a three-step correction: step 1 with Q²M Compound+ for the heavy defect removal (holograms accepted as an unavoidable side effect), step 2 with Q²M Compound (Medium Cut) for the fine correction and better gloss, step 3 with Q²M Polish for the final shine and full hologram removal. Even on badly beaten paint, this sequence lands a flawless, wet-look finish.

Residue and finishing after Q²M Compound+

Once you've run Q²M Compound+, finishing isn't optional. Compound+ leaves holograms and fine micro-marring behind that show up on glossy paint. Q²M Polish is the finishing polish for the job – it clears the Compound+ holograms reliably and pulls out maximum depth of gloss. For milder correction jobs there's an alternative: Q²M Compound (Medium Cut) as a finishing step between Compound+ and Polish.
